Corporate Governance & Board Leadership
About This Programme
This programme prepares professionals for effective governance roles — whether on corporate boards, non-profit governing bodies, or institutional oversight committees. Participants learn how boards create value, manage risk, ensure compliance, and hold management accountable while supporting strategic direction.
The curriculum covers board composition and structure, fiduciary responsibilities, committee governance, executive compensation, succession planning, and crisis management at the board level. Case studies include governance failures and turnarounds from both the private and development sectors.
Graduates leave with a governance toolkit including board evaluation frameworks, committee terms of reference, and a personal governance action plan for their current or prospective board role.
